Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: July 20, 2026 Last Updated: July 20, 2026
Welcome to thehermesproject.org (the "Site"), operated by The Hermes Project ("Hermes," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Purpose of the Site
The Site presents the Hermes Project framework — including its governance, regenerative finance, coherence-science research, decentralized infrastructure, and intentional community design concepts — for informational and educational purposes. Nothing on the Site constitutes a formal offer, solicitation, or guarantee of participation, membership, investment, or return of any kind unless expressly stated in a separate, signed agreement.
2. No Financial, Legal, or Medical Advice
Not financial advice. References to tokens, credits, ledgers, or regenerative finance mechanisms (including the Intent Ledger and related token architecture) are conceptual/educational and do not constitute investment advice, a securities offering, or a guarantee of value or return.
Not legal advice. References to private-jurisdiction structuring, UCC filings, PMA frameworks, or similar legal concepts describe Hermes's own organizational approach and are not legal advice for your personal situation. Consult a licensed attorney before relying on any such framework.
Not medical advice. Content referencing coherence science, bioresonance, or wellness practices is educational and not a substitute for professional medical or psychological care. Consult a licensed healthcare provider for medical concerns.
3. Eligibility and Acceptable Use
By using the Site, you agree to:
Provide accurate information in any forms you submit
Use the Site only for lawful purposes
Not attempt to interfere with the Site's security, functionality, or underlying systems
Not scrape, copy, or redistribute Site content for commercial purposes without written permission
4. Intellectual Property
All original content on the Site — including the Hermes Project framework, module documents, branding, graphics, and written materials — is the property of The Hermes Project unless otherwise credited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial reference.
5. Third-Party References and Links
The Site may reference or link to third-party organizations, research, or platforms (for example, research institutions, ecosystem partners, or referenced frameworks). Such references are informational and do not imply partnership, endorsement, or affiliation unless explicitly and separately stated. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites.
6. Voluntary Participation
Any participation in Hermes programs, pilot properties, community structures, or the Intent Ledger is entirely voluntary and subject to separate program-specific terms, agreements, or onboarding processes. Nothing on the Site obligates Hermes to admit any individual into any program.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Concepts described on the Site — including emerging technologies, frameworks, and research areas — are presented in good faith but without guarantee of outcome.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Hermes Project and its founders, contributors, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or reliance on any content within it.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Updates take effect upon posting to the Site, and continued use after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Insert governing jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except as superseded by any separate private agreement between Hermes and a specific individual or party.

These Terms & Conditions are provided for general informational purposes and have not been reviewed by an attorney. Given the Hermes Project's private-jurisdiction and community-participation model, we strongly recommend having qualified legal counsel review and finalize this document before it governs real participant relationships.
